Dear Parents,
We will be holding our annual recreational competition on the weekend of Sunday 29th June 2025
This is a great chance for all gymnasts to show off what they have been learning in class and to participate in a competition environment.
A set floor routine will be taught to all gymnasts wanting to take part during their class time, gymnasts will also compete on vault which will also be taught during their class.
Gymnasts will compete in age groups. Everyone will receive a participation certificate and gift. Medals will only be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The day is about trying hard and having fun, as well as showing off their gymnastics. Please encourage your child to compete for the experience and fun not to win.
The cost to enter for the competition will be £35, it will be held at our training venue Court moor Secondary School, Spring Woods GU52 7RY. Specific time will be confirmed nearer the time once all entries have been received. Spectators tickets will need to be purchased prior to the event via our website.
The recreational competition is open to all classes and all ages, we hope to see as many gymnasts as possible on the day. If you would like to compete in the recreational competition, Please enter no later than 20th May no gymnasts will be added to the competition after this date.
Late entries will not be accepted. No refunds will be given once entry has been received.
(Final date and running order TBC approximately w/c 2nd June – please do not chase us for this we will only know running order once all entries are received and can confirm dates and times)

**Polite reminder: Please note judges’ decisions are final. All gymnasts will be great on the day however, unfortunately they will not all win. This is an opportunity for gymnasts to compete in a competition environment and as such many gymnasts will not receive a medal. Hart GC will not respond to any complaints made about the competition because the parent is not happy with the judge’s decision and/or final placing. Please encourage your child to compete for the experience and fun not to win.
