INFORMATION
We are delighted to announce our Recreational & School Gymnastics Competition, taking place on Sunday 28th June.
This event is open to all of our recreational classes and school sessions, across all ages. It is a fantastic opportunity for gymnasts to showcase what they have been learning in class and to experience a friendly, supportive competition environment.
If your child attends both a recreational class and a school session, please enter them into the Recreational Competition, not the School Competition.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Gymnasts will perform a set floor routine, taught during their usual class time.
• Gymnasts will also compete on vault, which will be prepared during lessons.
• Competitors will be grouped by age.
• Club recreational classes and school classes will be separated where entry numbers permit.
• Every gymnast will receive a participation certificate and gift.
• Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group.
The focus of the day is confidence, effort and enjoyment. Please encourage your child to take part for the experience and fun, rather than purely to win.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
For school session gymnasts only, there will be an optional additional training session held at Court Moor School prior to the event. This session is designed to help school gymnasts familiarise themselves with the main gym environment, equipment set-up and surroundings ahead of competition day.
Please note there will be an additional cost for this session. Further details, including booking information and pricing, will be shared directly with those entered.
